Abstract
This research was conducted at PT Jatinom Indah Farm in the pre-maximum production phase in layer hen, locate in Soso Village, Gandusari District, Blitar Regency. This study started on March 3 – June 30, 2025. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect feed consumption, egg production and the egg weight on chicken body weight on closed house cages. The material in this study used Isa Brown strain layer chicken aged 19-23 weeks with 21.600 population. The method used is a quantitative analysis with a correlational approach using a simple linier regression test. The results of the analysis showed that body weight had a very strong correlation with Hen Day till 87,96% and with the egg weight till 95,46%. But the correlation between body weight and Feed Intake only 9,99%. Therefore, proper weight management from the early stages of rearing is essential to ensure maximum productivity, and feed management should be adjusted based on actual performance rather than feed quantity alone.
