Abstract
The purpose of this research is to describe the types of strategies teachers use in science learning, describe preparation for using strategies, describe how teachers apply these strategies in the classroom, and describe how teachers convey the strategies that have been implemented.
The research method used is qualitative with a single case study design. Data was obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects included the class X English teacher at SMAN 1 Kademangan, several class X students, and the school principal. The data analysis technique used is interactive data analysis which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding/verification. Data validity was tested using triangulation and member-checking techniques.
The research results show that teachers have implemented various strategies, including the use of meaningful context, active social interaction, multisensory approaches, personalized learning, and the use of digital technology. Evaluation is carried out through tests and feedback to ensure the effectiveness of strategies in improving students' understanding and use of vocabulary.
