Abstract

Abstract
An agreement is an event in which two people or two parties promise each other to do
something or it is said to be an agreement made by two or more parties, each agreeing to obey the
agreement. if one of the two parties breaks the promise or does not carry out what has been agreed,
the party who makes the promise can be said to have committed an act of default. The purpose of this
study is to find out what factors make defaults in Patricia Store cellular / handphone shops and to find
out what the legal consequences are for cellular / cellphone credit consumers who commit acts of
default according to the Civil Code, Researchers use research in the form of normative legal methods
is research conducted by examining library materials or secondary data. Data collection techniques are
literature studies and interviews. The results of the study show that the factors that result in default in
this study are in the form of negligence on the part of consumers, consumers deliberately violate the
agreement by not paying for cellular phones / cellphones that they buy on credit.
