Abstract
The research aims to evaluated the differences in pH and milk volume produced between modern and traditional dairy cows. The method employed was quantitative, involving the calculation of a T-test with a total of 30 samples. The
results indicated that the average pH in modern pens was 7 ± 0.2*, while in traditional pens, it was 6 ± 0.01*. The average milk volume produced by cows in modern pens was 20.25 ± 23.22* L/cow/day, compared to 15.86 ± 1.7* L/cow/day
in traditional pens. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the modern
housing model for dairy cows results in milk with better pH quality and higher yield
compared to that produced by cows in traditional housing.
