PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN ACIDIFIER KOMERSIAL DENGAN LEVEL BERBEDA TERHADAP PERFORMA AYAM PEJANTAN FASE STARTER

This research was conducted for 3 weeks when the chickens were 2-4 weeks old. The research was conducted in Pelas Village, Kras District, Kediri Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of acidifiers with different levels on the performance of starter phase roosters. The results of the study are expected to be used as a reference related to the addition of acidifiers as an alternative feed additive to replace antibiotics in improving performance in starter phase male chickens. The material used in this study was 100 male chickens. This research method uses a completely randomised design (CRD), with 4 treatments and 5 replicates so that there are 20 cage plots as experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 5 male chickens. The treatments were P0 (control), P1 (0.30% addition), P2 (0.42% addition) and P3 (0.55% addition). The parameters observed were feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion and mortality rate. Observations were made in the starter phase. The data obtained were then analysed with Annova analysis of variance. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the provision of acidifiers with various doses to starter phase male chickens has no significant effect on Feed Consumption, Body Weight Gain, Feed Conversion and Mortality Rate.
