Data analysis using paired sample t-tests with SPSS 25 provides robust and accurate results.
The results reveal a significant improvement in students' vocabulary acquisition for descriptive texts, with scores rising from a pre-test average of 57.25 to 73.00. Moreover, the paired sample t-test indicates a Sig. (2-tailed) value of less than 0.05, demonstrating a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test results. These findings underscore the effectiveness of Baamboozle in escalating vocabulary learning outcomes for seventh-grade students at SMPN 4 Blitar.
Based on the findings of this study, it is strongly recommended that educators incorporate Baamboozle into their English lessons to make learning engaging and enjoyable for students. By leveraging Baamboozle, teachers can effectively address various topics, enhancing the overall educational experience. Additionally, students should be encouraged to regularly review vocabulary materials, regardless of location, to reinforce their learning. Future research should evaluate how Baamboozle influences student and teacher experiences across different subjects or conduct comparative analyses with other learning platforms, like Duolingo and Busuu, to assess their effectiveness in teaching reading and other skills.
