Abstract

This research aims to determine farmer’s perceptions of the existence of an integrated animal market in Sukorejo District, Blitar City. This research used two variables, namely positive perceptions and negative perceptions. Sampling was taken using a purposive sampling method, where the samples were breeders who sold in the Dimoro integrated animal market area with a total sample 60 respondents. Each of the two variables is break down into 3 subvariables which will become a reference in the research, namely location, income, business opportunities, smell, waste and flies. The data analysis used in this research was descriptive statistics using grouping, simplification, and data presentation such as frequency distribution tables and measurements using a Likert scale. The research show that the farmer's positive perception score towards the market is 143 while the negative perception score towards the market is 131. The research show that these 2 variables have a significant effect on farmer preferences.
