Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to investigate how the people of Maliran Village, in the Ponggok District of Blitar, view layer chicken farming and its effects on the environment. From July 12 to July 19, 2024, the inquiry was conducted in Maliran Village, Ponggok District, Blitar Regency. Google Forms was used to disseminate surveys to 62 participants online, facilitating data collection. The social environment, waste management, noise, water quality, and air pollution were among the characteristics that were looked at. The respondents' age, gender, level of education, and work status were among their demographic details. 33 people, or 53% of the total, are female respondents, according to the statistics. With 35 responders (56%), the age group most represented is 19–30 years old. When it comes to educational background, the largest group is made up of 29 people (47%), who have a vocational education (SMK). With 16 responses, or 26% of the sample, private entrepreneurs are the most prevalent in terms of employment. The respondents rated the following aspects of the existence of farms in Maliran Village: noise pollution (202, sufficiently disturbed); water pollution (171, sufficiently interfered); air pollution (199, sufficiently disrupted); fly presence (270, suitable for disturbance); and employment opportunities (270, very uninterrupted).
